FOUR YEAR COLLEGEApplications are due between November 1 and March 1.Colleges require transcripts, GPA, SAT scores, teacher
recommendations.Students must complete the Red and Green folders to
obtain transcripts and recommendations.Most colleges require a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and 1400 on
SAT’s. Students earn a Bachelors of Art or Science at a four year
school.
HOW TO APPLY TO FOUR YEAR SCHOOL1. Complete Application online for the school you wish to
apply.2. Complete the red and green folder process.3. Have your SAT/ACT scores sent directly to the college.

addressed to each of your colleges (except common app schools)

finish junior and senior year at four year school.

HCC or CCBC offer associate degrees, certificates, letters of recognition and professional certificates in dozens of fields of study.
Examples:EMT, Pharmacy Technician, Massage Therapy, Hospitality
and Culinary Management, Nursing, Vet Tech, Dental Hygienist, Paralegal, Television and Radio, Respiratory Therapist.

WHAT IS AN APPRENTICESHIP
Apprenticeship is a combination of on-the-job training (OJT) and related classroom instruction under the supervision of a journey-level craft person.
Will being an Apprentice help me earn more money? Yes. Apprentices are guaranteed periodic pay increases throughout their Apprenticeships, provided they successfully complete program requirements.
