Served in consultatory capacity for physicians and physician extender providers at other state correctional facilities. Extensive experience & skill with cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, diabetes, endocrinology, gastroenterology/ hepatology, hematology/oncology, neurology, rheumatology, & HIV/ infectious disease management. Able to co-manage & coordinate care of patients actively being treated for cancer, solid organ or stem cell transplant, hemodialysis & palliative care. Gained experience in managing conditions that most community based primary care physicians never have the opportunity to provide care for. Capable of successfully managing the most challenging patients in a difficult setting with limited resources & support staff.
