If every person in Riverview attended school/work, participated in a community program and lived in a home that assumed their responsibility of the 30-30-30 solution, then every person
would enjoy at least 90 minutes of physical activity daily, which by the way meets Canada’s National Guidelines on physical activity.
May 31 - Riverview in motion Walk/Wheel to Work DayLeave the car at home and get to work on your own steam! It’s a great way to get your physical activity in for the day and relieve stress! If your workplace is too far, why not park your car at a certain point and walk/wheel the rest of the way? Post pictures of yourself/workplace in action on our facebook page at www.facebook.com/activeriverview or email them to [email protected].
If you need assistance organizing a Walk/Wheel to Work day at your workplace, please contact Ashley at 387-2028 or [email protected]. Visit www.townofriverview.ca and go to the ‘Things To Do’ page for more information through the ‘Active Living’ link.
June 1 - New Brunswick in motion day and International Trails Day Stay tuned for details and events!
In motion is an enthusiastic community wide initiative to live, work and play in a healthy and active Riverview. In motion’s 30-30-30 solution details a shared responsibility for making sure everyone gets 90 minutes of physical activity every day (and more is better!).

The New Brunswick Public Library website is a source of valuable information about the many library services offered in all provincial public libraries. Our online catalogue, Vision, is a great tool for browsing or checking to see if a particular title you are looking for is available. You may also access databases that the provincial library subscribes to for a wealth of research needs. Look up a recipe in Canadian Living magazine, search for reliable health information, discover the latest research on a subject for your school paper. A wonderful addition to our list of databases is the Small Engine and Auto Repair Database. Learn more about your machines: ATV’s, lawnmovers and snowmobiles; based on Chilton manuals, and includes electrical diagrams. Web access to this free information (with a library card number) is located at: www.gnb.ca/publiclibraries.
