Park FacilityDevelopment Update

SILVA PARK PHASE II The City of Riverbank has completed theplans for phase II at Silva Park. Installation of a restroom, gazebo and cement table tennis tables will begin in September, 2014.A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held soonafter and we will kickoff the fundraising efforts for the water park that will be part ofPhase III of the development. Anyone interested in assisting with the planning andfundraising for the water park should callSue Fitzpatrick, Director of Parks and Recreation at 863-7140.

JACOB MYERS PARKThe Friends of Jacob Myers Park and theCity of Riverbank are seeking grants for increased parking and an amphitheatre atJacob Myers Park. As grants and funding are secured we will move forward with theseprojects.

RIVERBANK SPORTS COMPLEXPhase II will include a picnic area, BMX Park(no track but a park similar to a skatepark),and a recreation area. Phase II will begin assoon as funding is secured.

RIVERBANK DOG PARKThe dog park task force has been formedand are working on this project. If you wouldlike to assist with choosing the site and designing the park, please call 863-7150.

Call the Recreation Office at 863-7150 forpark availability and costs. Reservationscan be made at 6707 Third Street.

JACOB MYERS PARKLocated off Santa Fe Road, over the bridgeto the left, along the Stanislaus River. Amenities: large gazebo, playground, wedding gazebo (available for rent), fingerpark (bring your own small toy cars), picnicarea, open space, restrooms, bicycleand pedestrian trail and group camp area.No Jump Houses are permitted at this park.

COMMUNITY CENTER PARKLocated at 3600 Santa Fe St. This park offers a playground and gazebo. This park isnear the Riverbank Community Pool. JumpHouses are allowed with permit.

CASTLEBERG PARKThis park is located at Eighth and Kentuckyand offers a playground, large gazebo area,baseball/softball diamonds, basketballcourts, restrooms, and pedestrian walkwayaround the park. Jump Houses are allowedwith a permit

RIVERBANK SPORTS COMPLEXLocated at 2119 Morrill Rd. The Sports Complex has a soccer field and a football/soccer field that can be reserved on a firstcome first serve basis. A concession stand isalso available. There are lighted fields.

PLAZA DEL RIOLocated across the street from City Hall, this is a perfect location for art, theater, and music! Come to the park and visitDowntown Riverbank!

The City of Riverbank is very proud of all the new playgrounds and parks within the City. Pleasehelp us keep them clean and in good repair. We ask that you please report any vandalism orGraffiti at the parks to 869-7019.

RIVERBANK COMMUNITY CENTERLocated at 3600 Santa Fe St. The Riverbank Community Center is availablefor rent for wedding receptions, birthdayparties, anniversaries and more! Buildingcapacity is 300. A kitchen is available.

SCOUT HALLLocated at 3017 High Street. The ScoutHall is perfect for small events. A smallkitchen is available.

RIVERBANK COMMUNITY POOLLocated on the corner of 7th and Stanislaus Street. During the summer thepool is available to rent for birthday parties, company parties, church partiesand more! Cost includes lifeguards. Pool isonly open for rent when it is not open tothe public.

RIVERBANK TEEN CENTERLocated at 3600A Santa Fe, this facilitycan be rented for youth groups, meetingsor special functions during non-operatedhours.
