Then  the  angel  showed  me  the  river  of  the  water  of  life,  bright  as  crystal,  flowing  from  the  throne  of  God  and  of  the  Lamb  through  the  middle  of  the  street  of  the  city;  also,  on  either  side  of  the  river,  the  tree  of  life  with  its  twelve  kinds  of  fruit,  yielding  its  fruit  each  month.  The  leaves  of  the  tree  were  for  the  healing  of  the  na>ons.

Revela&on  22:1-‐2  (ESV)

They  feast  on  the  abundance  of  your  house,          and  you  give  them  drink  from  the  river  of  your  delights.  For  with  you  is  the  fountain  of  life;          in  your  light  do  we  see  light.

Psalm  36:8-‐9  (ESV)

“…but  whoever  drinks  of  the  water  that  I  will  give  him  will  never  be  thirsty  again.  The  water  that  I  will  give  him  will  become  in  him  a  spring  of  water  welling  up  to  eternal  life.”

John  4:14  (ESV)

“Whoever  believes  in  me,  as  the  Scripture  has  said,  ‘Out  of  his  heart  will  flow  rivers  of  living  water.’”

John  7:38  (ESV)

There  is  a  river  whose  streams  make  glad  the  city  of  God,

Since  it  was  the  day  of  Prepara>on,  and  so  that  the  bodies  would  not  remain  on  the  cross  on  the  Sabbath  (for  that  Sabbath  was  a  high  day),  the  Jews  asked  Pilate  that  their  legs  might  be  broken  and  that  they  might  be  taken  away.  So  the  soldiers  came  and  broke  the  legs  of  the  first,  and  of  the  other  who  had  been  crucified  with  him.  But  when  they  came  to  Jesus  and  saw  that  he  was  already  dead,  they  did  not  break  his  legs.

But  one  of  the  soldiers  pierced  his  side  with  a  spear,  and  at  once  there  came  out  blood  and  water.  He  who  saw  it  has  borne  witness—his  tes>mony  is  true,  and  he  knows  that  he  is  telling  the  truth—that  you  also  may  believe.  For  these  things  took  place  that  the  Scripture  might  be  fulfilled:  “Not  one  of  his  bones  will  be  broken.”  And  again  another  Scripture  says,  “They  will  look  on  him  whom  they  have  pierced.”

John  19:31-‐37  (ESV)
