LUZON 2
1. “COORDINATOR” is preferred over “POINT PERSON” to refer to the head of the committee.
2. It was agreed that the WAREHOUSE COMMITTEE MEMBERS set up for the national level will be the same for the Luzon 2 committee because the
members are mostly from said Island group.
3. Sr. Merceditas Ang will write a letter to Sister Teresita Baricaua, Directress of St. Paul College Pasig, to provide a warehouse in the school to store
relief goods.
4. Another location suggested to serve as warehouse for Luzon 2, aside from SPC Pasig, is SPC Island Park. Sr. Lerma was tasked to ask Sr. Angele
Ilagan if a space can be provided in the campus for the needed warehouse for the Southern Tagalog area.
5. It was noted that three terms were used to refer to one of the committees: NETWORKING, LINKAGES, PARTNERSHIP. It was suggested that a
common term be chosen to name the committee. One suggestion was LINKAGING AND PARTNERSHIP. However, it was proposed that this
should be brought up to the bigger body.
6. It was recommended that interpretations of all acronyms be indicated in the Primer or Handbook.
7. A letter will be sent to all the committee members who were not present in the meeting. All the members must also receive the handout.
8. The Sub-Committee Chairs and members are expected to come up with a more detailed list of their team’s functions.

III. IMPORTANT POINTS (CORE TEAM MEETING)
1. Classification of SPC Communities
2. Initial Seed Money
Contributions will be collected as soon as the communication is given to the communities
Seed money = P 2M; whatever is collected over and above P2M will serve as operational fund
The communities are challenged to give more.
The subsequent annual contributions will be collected in June every year.
All cash will be remitted to the Provincialate for the Social Development Fund; all contributions in kind will be directed to the warehouse.
The SPC Social Development Fund is specifically for disasters, for the training of CISD, and other capital expenses
Other operating expenses for reconnaissance may be shouldered by the Sisters involved in the operations.

3. Mobilization
Mobilization should be a continuous effort because medicines and canned goods may expire. Therefore, the Warehouse committee should
continuously generate and dispense the goods to the poor communities who are in need.
If the SPC has an organized system, we will be able to get media and other GOs and NGOs to support
Rallying point: “SPC Direct Service to the poor”
4. Island Group Meeting
Island group meetings was held to discuss the PERT-CPM
The Island Core Teams are to identify the composition of each committee
The sub-teams of each island group are expected to enflesh their duties and responsibilities
5. Name of the SPC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
There was a proposal to change the name of the team
Disaster does not only mean the actual disaster but even poverty is a disaster in itself
6. Flow Chart
7. Training on Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD)
The CISD group will have a training program on October 12-14, 2011 to be conducted by Fr. Vic Sadaya’s group.
