Hazard: Fire/Flammable Material

What could cause harm? The diesel is flammable

What is the likelihood of this happening? Extremely unlikely

How much harm could be caused? An awful lot, however it’s very unlikely

How will this risk be managed? We will stay away from the fuel tanks and make sure nothing will be on set that could potential cause the diesel to ignite.

Hazard: Hostile/Remote Environment

What could cause harm? We are 5 minutes away from any shop/10 minutes away from any first aid

What is the likelihood of this happening? The likelihood we will need to visit to the shop is unlikely, and similarly with the first aid.

How much harm could be caused? If in an emergency, we need to be able to get to places as quickly as possible to reduce the risk of further injury. If we can’t get to places quickly, the time could potentially cause harm.

How will this risk be managed? We will have cars on sight therefore the time to get to places is as quick as possible.

Hazard: Night Operation

What could cause harm? Lack of vision can lead to trips etc.

What is the likelihood of this happening? Likely.

How much harm could be caused? As much as a fall or trip.

How will this risk be managed? Each member will be equipped with a torch.

Hazard: Roads

What could cause harm? We are right next to a busy road. We need to stay away from the road otherwise injury could be caused.

What is the likelihood of this happening? Very unlikely.

How much harm could be caused? A lot of harm, however it’s very unlikely.

How will this risk be managed? We will stay way away from the road.
