Committee members and responsible members of the group must manage behaviour and ensure that those in the back of the bus are respectful of the drivers need to concentrate. Large amounts of alcohol should not be consumed on the bus. If the driver is unable to concentrate they should stop the vehicle in a safe place and not continue until the behaviour of the passengers is appropriate. The driver should never be over the legal drink-drive limit. Driver/responsible person is responsible for ensuring the bus is locked and secure when leaving it. Usual precautions should be taken- no valuables left in sight, etc. Driver must be concentrating on driving at all times- see points on drunken behaviour and tiredness. Details of insurance are kept in bus if needed.
