Don’ts
Risk: Back injury due to improper technique for manual lift, bruise and material damage.
QHSE Department Page 8
Hazard : Manual Handling
Do’s
• Think before you lift anything.• Ensure the material doesn't’ t have any sharp edges to harm.• Always follow the manual lifting techniques.• Ensure the load is not above your lifting capability.• Use the trolleys for transporting the materials.• Use appropriate PPE.• Ask help & advice if you require.• Seek first aid if you are injured.
Risk: Back injury due to improper technique for manual lift, bruise and material damage.

Hazard : Manual Handling
• Don’t carry anything that obstructs you view.• Don’t lift anything if you are not sure about the weight of it.• Don’t carry anything in a way which will harm others while carrying.
Don’ts
Risk: Ill health, Hand & eye irritation or injury
QHSE Department Page 10
Hazard : Spillage of Chemical on eye during opening the tin/mixing
Do’s• Used/handled by competent workers only. •Understand the Material Safety Data Sheet/COSHH Assessment.• Understand the Hazard category.• Use the appropriate chemicals.• Ask your supervisor for the instruction on usage.• Store the chemicals in appropriate manner.• Use PPE.• Wash your hands prior eating or drinking.• Report to your supervisor if any discomfort.• Seek first aid if affected.
Risk: Ill health, Hand & eye irritation or injury
QHSE Department Page 11
Hazard : Spillage of Chemical on eye during opening the tin/ mixing
Don’ts
• Don’t store the chemicals in the unlabeled container.• Don’t use the chemical if you are not authorized to do so.• Don’t use anonymous water bottles.
Risk: Severe burns due to contact with live electrical cables, shock, fatality/Electrocution.
QHSE DepartmentPage 12
Hazard : Short circuit
Do’s
• Proper Male-Female industrial socket must be used for power connection.• Double insulated cables should be used and checked regularly for an kind of damage.• Use 110v power tools.• Only competent technician should be allowed to repair.• Fire extinguisher to be kept handy.• Usage of appropriate PPE.• Use appropriate tool• Seek first aid if injured.
Risk: Severe burns due to contact with live electrical cables, shock, fatality/Electrocution.
QHSE DepartmentPage 13
Hazard : Short circuit
Don’ts
• Don’t use uninspected/faulty tools .• Don’t remove any guards/handle.• Don’t attempt the shortcuts.• Don’t use personal tools.• Don’t administrate first aid if not familiar with the practice.
Risk: Minor laceration, bruise or bodily injuries from sharp edges.
QHSE DepartmentPage 14
Hazard : Protruding or sharp edges
Do’s• Provide rebar caps on protruding steel bars.
• Bend the top end of protruding steel bars.• Barricading the workplace.• Appropriate storage practice.• Report unsafe conditions.• Remove the protruding objects if unsafe.• Perform self inspection before proceeding the work.• Keep protruding objects separate from other debris.• Always maintain the housekeeping during and after the work.• Use appropriate PPE.• Seek first aid if injured.
Risk: Minor laceration, bruise or bodily injuries from sharp edges.
