What is intonation? It is the rising and falling of the voice in

speech.When do we use the rising intonation? falling intonation?

We use the rising intonation when we ask questions answerable by yes or no) or when we express doubt and want confirmation.

We use the falling intonation when the sentence is a plain statement or when giving information.
