Linderises to new heights

“We are all here to make a difference, to find solutions and take the business to the next level,” said Brenton Alexander, Managing Director of Linde Material Handling. Alexander who was officially appointed as MD last year June told Cherry Ellis in an exclusive interview that since the beginning of the year the company has made several internal changes that helps the business run smoother.

“Most importantly we built space for a head office; previously head office and the Gauteng regional office shared the same space, which was confusing for

customers as well creating internal issues. Then we moved the short term rental business, previously situated in Wadeville, to the Gauteng regional offices in Linbro Park. From a management point of view this gives us a more hands-on-approach and we can sort challenges as soon as they occur,” said Alexander. “On a management level changes include appointing a new Financial Director;

“Yes, we have changed the business and the results thus far has been a record intake in April and we are looking forward to another bumper month in May; these are the best results the company has shown in the last 10-12 months,” said Alexander.

He continued by saying now that the internal issues have been sorted, the company’s focus is on aftermarket service and to maintain a high standard on all its service contracts.

He concluded by saying that new products will be launched throughout the year; some of these will go into Linde’s rental fleet to sort out any teething problems it might have, before its sold.
