A Day at RIS (ES)
What does it look like?
Please be on time
First bell rings at 7:10am
Please be On TIME
School Starts at 7:15
Line-up with your HR near the HR sign
Arriving at RIS
● When my foot touches school ground, I speak English everywhere I go.
●(The ONLY exception-Thai Language Class)
● I walk to the ES section. I make good choices so I do not hurt others or myself.
● I put my backpack down in the proper place.
No Cell Phones during the school day
(except BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Days)
Use the phones in the ES Office
Lining-up & walking to class● When the bell rings, I line-up quickly & quietly.
● I am collaborative. I respectfully work with my classmates to travel to other parts of the school (PE, music, art, Thai, values & religion, theater arts).

● Students with set-lunch will walk to the new canteen for their snack.● Line-up
● All students will eat and drink in the canteen areas. No food or drink outside the canteen.
LUNCH● Students with set-lunch will walk to the new
canteen for their lunch.● Line-up● 3rd, 4th, 5th graders may take their food to the ES
canteen
● 12:10-12:30 Eating/Sitting/Talking
● You will need a pass If informed by your teacher to work during lunch (computer lab, HR, Ms. Nimfa, Ms. Kim, etc.) .

(tables in front of the school shop)

● 12:30 Start of Recess● Only water outside of the canteen● Do NOT buy drinks at the end of breaks to take to
class

12:50 Bell for Soccer Field ● 5 minutes to...
● get a drink● wipe off/change shirt● visit the restroom● wait on ES playground● If you take longer, we will ring the bell earlier
● 12:55 Bell● Line up quietly, ready for class
Soccer Field
No students in unsupervised halls, classrooms, or on campus
At the end of the day... ● 2:40 All students need to leave the hallways
& campus promptly● Catch bus● Meet parent, nanny, driver● Head to EDP (Extended Day Program)/Athletics● Leave campus (Gate 8, Gate 5)
● 3:00 All STUDENTS NEED to be OFF CAMPUS/In tutoring/EDP/Athletics, etc. (unless ACTIVELY supervised by parent, nanny, driver).
