RINL CMD’S SURPRISE VISIT TO RESIDENTIAL QUARTERS IN UKKUNAGARAM

Sri P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL made a surprise visit to several residential quarters in various sectors in Ukkunagaram township on Thursday night to have first hand information about the condition of the quarters and the state of facilities being extended to the employees residing in the township. The CMD’s visit aimed to give a fillip to welfare measures being provided to the employees. He interacted with several employees and their family members residing in the quarters and obtained key information about the maintenance and operational aspects of the township and also to further improve the facilities.

While interacting with the employees, Sri Madhusudan impressed upon them the need to maintain the quarters clean and green since Ukkunagaram has been recognized as a “Greens Paradise” in the entire steel industry. He reminded the employees that the temperature in the township is 4-5 degrees lower than the city due to thick vegetation, hence the need to maintain

it properly. He emphasized the need of greater cooperation from each and every resident to make Ukkunagaram as a bench mark individual township in Indian industries.

The employees and their family members expressed happiness on seeing the CMD, who was at their doorstep to elicit key information regarding the facilities. Later, Sri Madhusudan held samalochana with Town Administration officials and advised them to further improve the facilities and redress the grievances with out any delay.
