A new initiative in the UK
particularly amongst government

‘share services’
In this model, the operational
activities of the records team –
boxing, listing, disposal etc are split
from the more corporate side of the
team – the policy, compliance,
analysis etc
They exist under two different
structures with two different
directors and so compete for
resourcing in 2 different areas,
requiring the creation of an account
manager role in the governance
area.
