is situated in 3 - 4 kms from Brisbane City Area. it is suitable for those who seek for quiet, simple and appropri-ate living away from city life but still in the proximity of reaching the CBD Area. Coorparoo itself is equipped with own train station and bus stops, which easing the opportunity to commute to the heart of the CBD.

T H E T O W N H O U S E

is designed incorporating the balance usage of footprint and the unbuilt, by providing a distant pathway both for occupants and passer by, courtyard and landscap-ping elements. This also purposed to increase the walkability level and therefore creating a Townhouse that is blending with the nature and surroundings.

The Townhouse itself has 2 different unit type, which are Family and Studio. This broaden the range of potential occupants as the Town-house should be suitable for a various market purpose.

T H E F A M I L Y U N I Tis suitable for a complete family of 4 person (2 parents + 2 children). The Unit equipped with standard housing facility including Living Room, Kitchen, 2 Bedrooms, Bathroom, Dining Space and Backyard. The First Level is mainly consists of space that requires whole family activities such as Dining and Family Gathering, while the Upper Level consists of more private activities such as Resting and Studying/Working. The division is intended to provide a clear division and resulting the more manageable spatial program.

T H E S T U D I O U N I Tis suitable for single occupant or newly married couple (2 persons). The Studio unit is measured 3.15m x 8.6m and only consists of Bed/Study Space, Bathroom and Living integrated with Kitchen Space. The concept is to have a minimal level but maximal (and nececessary ) functions, with the purpose to achieve simplistic living in best quality as possible.

is located in the corner of Melbourne and Grey Street, Southbank, Brisbane. The M+G purpose is to act as a Transit Building integrated with the Southbank Train Station while providing activities for the commuters within the aspects of Education, Casual, Entertainment and Artistry.

E D U C A T I O N P R E C I N C T

is situated in the Level One to provide the most accessible and convenient approach from the audience. Education Precinct is purposed to provide the commuters a minute of relax enjoying the M+G Library, Study Space, Contemplation Space and Internet Cafe. However, the spaces also can be used for non-commuters, for example a group of student whose conducting a project meeting.

The space designed in combining indoor and outdoor elements, by using voids and openings in order to expose the natural light and natural environment around the site. The purpose is to trigger and enhance the sensory experience of being revealed to different spatial elements simultaneously. The final intention is to produce a high level of experiencing architectural space.

is located on the Level Two of the building. The Entertainment and Artistry Precinct offers a more specific activities but also applied to general public. The space consists of Cinema (VIP/Family), Art Gallery and 2nd Floor Library. The activities are more corresponded to leisuring activities rather than Level One.

The space also designed exposing the surrounding which is natural light around the site. The purpose is to enhance the sensory experience by providing a spatial quality that is well illuminated, wide / long and extend to the surroundings.

is located on the Level Three and act as an extension from the level below. The space consists of Waiting Lounge and Regular Cinema, which suitable for group gathering or individual.

The two levels are connected visually with the void so it generates perception of a massive scale space. Also with the excessive exposure of light, it also produces a sensory experience of extended space into the outdoor area.

Situated in the Top Level of the building, Roof Garden offers a new experience and level in enjoying the M+G. Consists of Open Area, Bar Area and Open Plan Design, M+G Rooftop Bar & Dining creates various possibilities for Brisbane’s Night Life activi-ties.

Designed openly, the Bar still provides the sensory quality by exposing the space into the dark night sky, extracting the experi-ence of being close to the stars and the night.

QUEEN STREET MALL is very well known with it’s name and function as mixture between shopping mall and public square. The Queen Street Mall is located in the quite centre of Brisbane CBD. Therefore it has easy access and accessible by various modes of transportation.

The existing function as mixed use inspires us to reinterpret the design with our style and to tackle the future social issues, in which become the main focus.

is designed to tackle to wicked social issue predicted in 2020 onwards. The root related to social issue caused by the excessive dependency of technology which leads to the behaviour of anti-social and individualism. The QSPC is aimed to revert back the social manner recalling the non-virtual social place for the audience to perform the social activities

The Ground Floor consists of Entry Plaza (access from new train platform), Shopping Walkway and Public Landscaping. The specific objective on the Ground Floor is to create feel of happiness by providing public area that is suitable for every demographic.

The First Floor consists of series of spaces that are stand alone but connected through the circulation. The objective of this floor is to stimulate the social sense through learning and art-related activities in Art Gallery and Education Centre. Furthermore, the Retail Space also provided to stimulate the traditional social interaction between visitors.

The Roof Garden acts a a final destination and also a balance for the spatial experience. Located at the top level, QSPC Roof Garden provides similar opportunity with the Ground Level area but with more limited activities (only public area) and being closer to the sky and more exposure to the city surroundings.

The Second Floor consists of Entertainment and Leisure purpose, such as Cinema / Theatre, Dining and Lounge / Bar. The objective is to reward the visitors by indulging them into interesting movies, performances and fascinating dine experience while still maintaining the social spirit.
