Introducing Personalised Ceremonies with Richardson HotelsIf you are looking for something very personal and wish to engage with a registered Celebrant we are happy to help.

Working in partnership with local celebrants, The Richardson Group are happy to offer the following options.

Weddings:Choosing a celebrant will enable you to have the wedding of your choice, with a professional,

bespoke and creative ceremony. It can include your own words and significant music, or we can offer advice on poems and readings. It can include mini ceremonies during the service – for example, if you have children,

they can also be included and play a part in your special day.

Renewal of Vows:When a couple are approaching a special, milestone anniversary, it is natural that they should want to mark

the occasion, by once again declaring their love for each other with a special ceremony. That ceremony can include the acknowledgement of any children, the re-dedication of rings, and maybe a reading by any guests

at the original wedding, as well as another reading by your children.

Handfasting:A handfasting is a Celtic wedding ritual, spiritual and ruled by earth based traditions, believing in the forces of Natureand the universe and filled with love. During the ceremony, which is usually held in a natural setting, in the middle of a circle which denotes eternity, the couple will be invited into the sacred space to exchange vows and ringsin front of their family and friends. Then holding hands, coloured cords will be draped and bound. This symbolises

the intent to have a permanent relationship – and is where the expression to” Tie the Knot” originates from.Celtic Spirituality believes that God is found in all things, not only the human heart, but also in all of His creations.

The elements of Earth, Fire, Air and Water are called upon to cast blessings upon the couple. The ritual helps us toget in touch with the life force within ourselves, to re-establish the connection with all life, and to access the energies of the living earth. After their vows to each other, the Bride and Groom will toast each other from a Celtic Loving Cup
