Dr Richard Miller specializes in design and construction of prestressed concrete structures with an

emphasis on bridge design. He also specializes in concrete material properties. Dr. Miller’s work has

been instrumental in affecting changes in the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and in Ohio

Department of Transportation specifications. He is a Fellow of PCI and is currently the PCI R&D Council

Chair, which also makes him a member of the Board of Directors.
