Failed one out of three core courses (English, Math, French)  → Secondary 4 with repeat of English or Math or French 

at Secondary 3 level.  When a student is “carrying” a subject, there is a possibility of a bridge class* in Secondary 5 (subject to enrollment).

Failed two out of three core courses (English, Math, French)  → Repeat Secondary 3

*Bridge class involves 4 additional periods of English/French and loss of 4-period option course

• Minimum graduation requirement• This option specifically prepares students for studies in social and most applied arts career/technical programs as well as pre‐university programs in the arts, fine arts and social sciences.
