With sufficient nature light, the sensor is not triggered by motion.
With insufficient nature light, the sensor is triggered by motion, the master switches on all salves by RF signal.
After the hold-time, the whole group of lamps dim to pre-defined dimming level when no movement detected.
The whole group of lamps switches off automatically after the stand-by period.
Function and Options
This is a combination of motion sensor and RF radio wave wireless transmission. The motion at 1 sensor (the master unit) can be passed onto other pre-defined individuals (the slave units) though RF transmission. With fixed address code technology, easy to set up point - to - point or point - to - multipoint transmission. By using the rotary coding switch, up to 10 different groups can be easily created.1master can trigger unlimited number of slaves; at the same time within the RF transmission range, 1 slave can respond to
unlimited number of masters respectively. Digital receiving and transmitting method, high anti-interference capability. Optional transmission frequency of 433/868/315/915 MHz, thanks to FSK technology.
With 1-10V output control signal signal, it can switch on/off and dim any brand of 1-10V analogue diming ballast and driver.
This is advanced combination of HC018V/RF (RF transmitter with motion sensor) + RF receiver, dimming function. This wireless transmission system is the perfect solution for retrofit projects, easy installation and free of wiring.
With fixed address coding system, by “rotary coding switch" method, selected and directional communication can be easily setup. Up to 10 channels can be easily grouped and programmed, and up to 30 meters indoor transmission and 100 meters in open area.
RF Transmitter (HC018V/RF) + RF Receiver (HC024RF), dimming function1
Even in case, the slave (HC024RF) fails to receive the off signal from the master (HC018V/RF), it will also switch off automatically after a 30min time delay.

With simple operation, rapidly turn off/on the fixture 2 cycles within 2 sec: a. The green LED on the sensor flashes slowly for 5 seconds, meanwhile the fixture blinks twice. b. The daylight sensor measures and remembers the surrounding lux for 1 sec. c. The fixture and green LED is on for 10s to indicate the success of learning.
This feature enables the fixture to function well in any real application circumstance, where the daylight penetrated into fixture may vary a lot.
Ambient daylight threshold3
Designed in the software, the sensor switches on/off the load right on the zero-cross point, to ensure the min. current passing through the relay contact point, and enable the maxi. load and life-time of the relay.
Zero-cross relay operation4
* The latest surrounding lux value overwrites previous lux value learned.
* Both the settings on DIP switch and the learned ambient lux threshold can overwrite each other. The latest action stays in validity.
Double L N terminal makes it easy for wire loop-in and loop-out, saves the cost of terminal block and assembly time.
Note: 1. Motion sensor overwrites daylight sensor, meaning the daylight sensor starts to check the ambient natural light only when the lamp is switched off (motion hold-time elapsed).
Loop-in and loop-out5
*
2.1-10V output on the master unit HC018V/RF is isolated, SELV output; while the 1-10V on the slave unit HC024RF is non-isolated.

With simple operation, rapidly turn off/on the master fixture 3 cycles within 3 sec. (the green LED on the sensor flashes and the fixture blinks 3 times to indicate the success of setup), lamp will be 100% on for 100 hours, and then automatically goes to sensor mode after 100 hours. This is crucial to secure the lifetime of fluorescent lamp, when new fixture is installed, or old lamp is replaced.
100H burn-in mode for fluorescent lamp2
This 100H burn-in feature can be cancelled by turning off/on the fixture 1 cycle within 1sec.

Note: The stand-by period and stand-by dimming level set up on the master unit is valid only for the master unit; The slave unit stand-by period and dimming level has to be set on the slave unit, HC024RF.
RF Grouping (Max. 10 channels)
Using a screwdriver to adjust the rotary switch on both the master & slave unit, to keep them pointing at the same channel, the grouping is then automatically completed. 10 channels (Max.10 groups) available for both the master & slave unit.
Thanks to fixed address coding system, the setup of communication channel and the definition of masters and slaves can be easily achieved by the rotary coding switch -- ( the transmitter unit is called “master ”, and the receiving unit called “slave” ).
MasterSlave
Using a screwdriver to point the arrow to the same position on the master unit and slave units.
Note: “0s” means on/off control; “+ ”means 2 steps dimming control, fixture never switches off.8
