Manpack data performance in a compact, lightweight handheld platform, the RF-7800V-HH comes standard with a 64Kbps data rate, with the option to upgrade to 192Kbps. All while ensuring constant, on-demand voice communication ability.

Supports situational awareness data from up to 64 radios on a single channel through integrated GPS and an optional TDMA waveform, delivering critical field data to the Common Operational Picture.

For fast and easy use by soldiers in the field, the RF-7800V-HH is equipped with USB and LAN Ethernet adapters, allowing direct connection to peripheral data input devices such as digital cameras or video cameras without the need for a PC. Direct connection of USB mass-storage devices enables easy file transfer, key loading, and mission data reconfiguration.

Dual Net PTT unifies up- and down-echelon communication, enabling squads to communicate while making it easy to keep commanders informed. Two discrete communication networks are available at the push of a button.

Designed and tested to work seamlessly with the RF-5800 radio family, the RF-7800V-HH allows integration with existing fielded radios and deployment scalability based on your mission requirements.

Large, Split Screen Display

■ Field-ready for collecting and communicating advanced information.

The USB adapter allows direct connection to a host of devices such as digital cameras, video cameras and USB storage stick without the need for a bridging PC. A LAN Ethernet adapter connects the radio directly to any local area network.

■ Extended Range Communication In-Vehicle or On-Site.

The RF-7800V-V500 is a high-performance VHF power amplifier that enables the RF-7800V-HH to be used in vehicle or base station radio systems, supplying up to 50 additional watts of RF power for increased range. The V500 also comes with a remote keypad display unit for easy access to the radio’s controls while in the amplifier.

■ Transforming the RF-7800V-HH into a mini-manpack.

The dismounted communication system combines a VHF soldier antenna, connecting cables and a holster system to deliver a light-weight, wearable communication system that provides the range and performance of a manpack radio for soldiers on foot.

The RF-7800V-HH supports up to 64 nodes with the TDMA waveform option. Inserted into an RF-7800V-500 vehicular adapter the radio integrates with BMS systems for voice, data, and situational awareness.
