This is not a Book of myths or a Book that was put together as the Jews sat around their ancient campfires as some like to put it. But as Peter says in his little epistle, "Holy men of God wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:21) God has these certain attributes. God is Sovereign. He is absolutely Sov- ereign, and there is no one above Him. He never has to go to someone else for advice or for questioning. Secondly, God is Immutable, the Book of Hebrews says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and for- ever!" He has never changed in the past, He has not changed as of today, and He will never change in the eternity future, because He is immuta- ble! We hear, "After all were living in the 2000’s," as if that makes all the difference in the world. But concerning God, the things that God laid down at the beginning are still applicable today. God hasnt changed His attitude toward sin simply because its a later time in human history. He is immutable, and the things that He declared anathema back there in the Old Testament, are still the same in His sight today, and they will be in the future if He tarries, because God changes not! God is always the same! He is also Omniscient ! Ponder this; in the life of a woman or female, of any of the species, there are thousands upon thousands of ova, eggs. In the male of the species there are billions upon billions of sperm. Theyre so small you have to put them under the microscope to see them. But God in His Omniscience has put every human being that has ever been born together according to His will. The billions in China? Yes. The millions here in America? Yes. The mil- lions aborted? Yes. God in His Omniscience, and Sovereignty has put together every sperm and every egg that has ever been fertilized. (Psalm 139:4) Now that should boggle your mind. On a night that you can go look at a starlit sky, just step out and try to comprehend how many billions upon billions of stars there are. It isnt just billions of stars, now we know theres billions of galaxies in which there are billions of stars. Now were talking about trillions and trillions of stars. Do you think God has lost sight of anyone of them? Not a one. So He is Omnis- cient. He is all knowing, and more. Omniscience ...more to follow next week... Revive Us Again God’s Sovereignty, Immutability, and Omniscience

By: Frank Blaszczak From: Material by Les Feldick

In order to begin to understand the Attributes of God, we need to take a look at Genesis 1:1a again: “In the beginning God…” He is the friend of sinners. He is the One who has promised never to leave us nor forsake us. We’re going to look at a few of the attributes of God this morning.

What God has said, we can believe. This is not a Book of myths or a Book that was put together as the Jews sat around their ancient campfires as some like to put it. But as Peter says in his little epistle, "Holy men of God wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." (2 Peter 1:21)

God has these certain attributes. God is Sovereign. He is absolutely Sov-ereign, and there is no one above Him. He never has to go to someone else for advice or for questioning. Secondly, God is Immutable, the Book of Hebrews says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and for-ever!" He has never changed in the past, He has not changed as of today, and He will never change in the eternity future, because He is immuta-ble!

We hear, "After all we’re living in the 2000’s," as if that makes all the difference in the world. But concerning God, the things that God laid down at the beginning are still applicable today. God hasn’t changed His attitude toward sin simply because it’s a later time in human history. He is immutable, and the things that He declared anathema back there in the Old Testament, are still the same in His sight today, and they will be in the future if He tarries, because God changes not! God is always the same!

He is also Omniscient! Ponder this; in the life of a woman or female, of any of the species, there are thousands upon thousands of ova, eggs. In the male of the species there are billions upon billions of sperm. They’re so small you have to put them under the microscope to see them. But God in His Omniscience has put every human being that has ever been born together according to His will.

The billions in China? Yes. The millions here in America? Yes. The mil-lions aborted? Yes. God in His Omniscience, and Sovereignty has put together every sperm and every egg that has ever been fertilized. (Psalm 139:4) Now that should boggle your mind. On a night that you can go look at a starlit sky, just step out and try to comprehend how many billions upon billions of stars there are. It isn’t just billions of stars, now we know there’s billions of galaxies in which there are billions of stars. Now we’re talking about trillions and trillions of stars. Do you think God has lost sight of anyone of them? Not a one. So He is Omnis-cient. He is all knowing, and more.

Fairest Lord Jesus (DVD)

Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor, Thou my soul’s glory, joy, and crown.

Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature, O Thou of God and man the Son: Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor, Thou my soul’s glory, joy, and crown.

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands, robed in the blooming garb of spring: Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer, Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

You are fairer than the fairest of ten thousand, lovelier than all I’ve ever seen. You are brighter than the brightest star in heaven.

Jesus, You’re everything to me. Jesus, You’re everything to me.

Fair is the sunshine, fairer still the moonlight, and all the twinkling starry hosts: Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer than all the angels in heaven can boast!

You are fairer than the fairest of ten thousand, lovelier than all I’ve ever seen. You are brighter than the brightest star in heaven, Jesus, You’re everything to me. Jesus, You’re everything to me.

Beautiful Savior, Lord of all nations Son of God and Son of Man. Glory and honor, praise, adoration, now and forevermore be Thine.

Invitation I’m Forever Grateful

You did not wait for me to draw near to You,

But you clothed Yourself with frail humanity.

You did not wait for me to cry out to You,

But You let me hear Your voice calling me.

And I’m forever grateful to You,

I’m forever grateful for the cross.

I’m forever grateful to You that You came
