The Church Engages to be Zealous to Advance the Kingdom of God

PAGE 02 | OCTOBER 24 | ACTS 29

F. Misguided zeal must be pointed to the right Person. II. The zeal that is according to the knowledge of God will surely advance the kingdom of God.

A. The Lord wants His people to be zealous.

B. The zeal of God’s people should be for the advancement of the Saviour’s kingdom.

C. The zeal of God’s people will surely merit God’s blessings upon the earth and His “well done” greetings up in Heaven.

Matthew 6:33 / Romans 10:2 / Titus 2:14

WHEN God commands us to do something for Him, He will surely provide us opportunity and ability to do it. That is why I believe that

every believer has a responsibility to win a soul to the Lord as He was clear in His command that Christians must go and preach the gospel. What we really need to have is a heart or a desire to reach somebody with the Gospel.

I thank God that He has led our church to the right direction and purpose, which is to guide the lost to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Sadly, I have heard and seen several churches that have already missed their main purpose. The Great Commission to them has been the Lost Commission. As I always say, “The Church that does not win souls has no right to exist.” I pray that members of this church will continue to have their passion for the lost souls.

May we allow God’s Word to penetrate always in our hearts. Let our Sunday School lesson focusing on the Church Covenant encourage us more to fulfill our task as members of the church. Also, let us continue to pray for our upcoming Missions Conference!

Have a blessed Sunday!

Make sure you participate in our Church's 70-day 24-hour round d' clock prayer.

This will help set our hearts right for our upcoming Missions Conference on November 30

with the theme "FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS" (Esther 4:14).

Preaching CDs, Music CDs, & Soulwinning Kits are available today at the usher’s table after the service!

“We engage to seek the salvation of the lost...; and ... we engage to work for the advancement of the kingdom of God...” Thus says in part our Church Covenant, which we bind ourselves to. We are then encouraged to join our soulwinning endeavours to seek the lost by the grace and power of God. Likewise, we are enjoined to support our Discipleship program every Sunday afternoon to strengthen our faith in the Lord. These are godly activities that surely advance the kingdom of God. Let us all be a part of this great task of fulfilling the Great Commission as we prepare for our Missions Conference.

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth, and who hath not another to lift him up!" Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Area 33/Division FBro. Elmer Panizales

Area 33 is designated to our deaf brethren. By God’s grace, the number of deaf members faithfully attending church services is increasing. Right now, 110 are regularly attending the Sunday morning worship service, and 45 in the afternoon. Likewise, we are using three vehicles to fetch visitors, new converts, and members. It is because of the committed hearing workers who are soulwinning, together with deaf members who are assisting them in inviting their relatives and friends during Thursday and Saturday visitation.

By simply following the program of our Pastor, Dr. Ed Laurena, we in the Ministry to the Deaf and Mute are excited in producing deaf teachers, preachers, ushers, and soulwinners who are determined to reach other deaf persons and are willing to preserve their own Christian deaf community. We also aim that our deaf brethren will grow in grace as they come to church, alongside our prayer that our students in the School for the Deaf will be equipped and trained to be used by God in fulfilling the Great Commission.

We praise and thank God for the opportunity He has given to our Area. Deaf people are everywhere; so we divided our Area into four groups. Group one is composed of Alabang, Las Piñas, Parañaque, Bicutan, and Taguig. Group two consists of Muntinlupa, San Pedro, Estrella, and Pacita. Group three includes San Jose, GMA, Silang, and Carmona, Cavite. Group four covers Biñan, Sta. Rosa, Cabuyao, and Calamba.

Truly, God is good all the time. We thank you for your prayers and participation in bringing deaf members and visitors that they might invest also their lives in God’s work. Your labor is not in vain in the Lord. To God be the glory!

nalibing at nabuhay namagmuli. Roma 10:9-104.

iyong puso bilang iyong Tagapagligtas. Roma 10:13

“If there be any one point in which the Christian church ought to keep its fervor at a white heat, it is concerning missions.

If there be anything about which we cannot tolerate lukewarmness, it is in the matter of sending the gospel to a dying world.”
