Technical Communication Brigham Young University MEMORANDUM Date: September 21, 2013 To: Master Christensen From: Seth Burdette Subject: Writing Revisions Throughout the writing process I made numerous revisions on my resume. The most significant changes are as follows: I changed the style of my fonts to have the headings in san serif and the body in serif. This is to help the reader skim over the headings but stay focused on the body of my resume. I made a few design changes in the left alignment to remove bullet points and move dates over to the right side to improve readability. I improved the specifics of the job descriptions to quantify my activities in each position. This allows the reader to see the contributions I have made. In my cover letter I added descriptions on my work experience to better tie my resume and cover letter together. Throughout this experience I learned that I really enjoy writing when I write for short periods of time. For this assignment I spread out my writing into short segments in which I reviewed my writings and made small changes. It was nice to not have the pressure of completing the entire paper in one sitting. Based on this realization I am excited to use this approach again.

MEMORANDUM

Date: September 21, 2013To: Master ChristensenFrom: Seth BurdetteSubject: Writing Revisions

Throughout the writing process I made numerous revisions on my resume. The most significant changes are as follows:

I changed the style of my fonts to have the headings in san serif and the body in serif.
