1. Create Patchwork:
Using fabric scraps, sew an 8” x 111/2” patchwork rectangle of your choosing.
Patchwork suggestions:
4—2 1/2” strips piece horizontally
6—2 1/2” strips pieced vertically
Horizontal or vertical strips of varying widths (as shown).
24—21/2” squares
1 –8” x 61/2” rectangle and 1—8” x 5” rectangle
2. Sew Bib Using the pattern piece from the last page, cut patchwork por-
tion to bib shape.
Place patchwork bib shape RST with the Cuddle rectangle. It is
easier to sew the fabric to the Cuddle if the Cuddle is not
trimmed to the bib shape.
Sew patchwork pieces to Cuddle rectangle, RST, leaving a 3”
opening along one side.

3. Trim Cuddle:
Using the patchwork as a guide, trim Cuddle to the bib shape. Clip all
curves.

4. Turn & Finish:
Turn bib right side out through opening. Gently push out points. Pin
opening closed.
Sew 1/8” from edge of bib all the way around, sewing opening closed.
Quilt as desired (1/8” on either side
of seam is shown). This will keep
the patchwork in place and create a
pretty texture on the Cuddle, per-
fect for using both sides of the bib!
Attach hook and loop tape or snap
to the top of bib to finish.
