SUNDAY’S READINGS
First Reading: I will put my spirit in you that you may live, and I will settle
you upon your land; thus you shall know that I am the LORD.
I have promised, and I will do it, says the LORD. (Ez 37:14)
Psalm: With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption. (Ps
130)
Second Reading:
If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells
in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life
to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit dwelling in you.
(Rom 8:11)
Gospel: Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life; whoever
believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who
lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
She said to him, "Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you
are the Christ, the Son of God, the one who is coming into the
world." (Jn 11:25-27)

LAZARUS
Lazarus is you and me. He died and was raised by Christ! In
our lives we die and die again in search of healing,
forgiveness, reconciliation, change and renewal. Today we are
not who we were ten years ago. Ten years from now we will
not be who we are today. Change is in the air. Change will
happen. The only question is, "Do I change my way or our
Lord's way"? That is the spiritual question we actually can
confront not only today but every day. Lazarus the old had
died and was already in the tomb for four days. But, Jesus
enters into his still life and He raises Lazarus from the power
of death. When our Lord extends His divine mercy, justice and
compassion and forgiveness on you or me, it is then, the
Divine brings healing, renewal and forgiveness. Go forth in
life, constantly fed by and renewed by Christ. Seek first the
Kingdom! Know our Lord is with you. And know and trust
that our Lord is with you even in the darkest of times. Then,
humbly give thanks to our God.
Remembering the Sick Please pray for: Guy Cooksey, Tim Boyd, Mary Grace
Lynch, Michael Hurst, Fred Behrens, Bob Thorne, Harry
Wheatley, Lexie, who is suffering from cancer, Bill

Note: If you wish to add someone to the sick list,
please contact the parish office. Announcements must
be relayed to the parish one week prior to the bulletin
being printed. Thank You.
