Our feet shall stand within Thy gates, O Jerusalem. Psalm 122:1,2

L: Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek Thy good. Psalm 122:9

P: Those that be planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in

the courts of our God. Psalm 92:13

P: For the Lord is in His holy temple, let all the earth keep silence before Him. Habakkuk 2:20

The Mission of the African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E.) Church is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical,

emotional and environmental needs of all people by spreading Christ’s liberating gospel through word and deed. At every level

of the connection and in every local church, the African Methodist Episcopal Church shall engage in carrying out the spirit of the

original Free African Society, out of which the A.M.E. Church evolved: that is, to seek out and save the lost, and serve the needy

through a continuing program of (1) preaching the gospel, (2) feeding the hungry, (3) clothing the naked, (4) housing the

homeless, (5) cheering the fallen, (6) providing jobs for the jobless, (7) administering to the needs of those in prison, hospitals,

nursing homes, asylums and mental institutions, senior citizens’ homes; caring for the sick, the shut-in, the mentally and socially

disturbed, and (8) encouraging thrift and economic advancement.

ANNOUNCEMENTS TITHES & OFFERING

THE PREACHED WORD Pastor Lonnie Mitchell THE INVITATION

HOLY BAPTISM BENEDICTION

SUMMARY OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Leader—Hear what Christ, our Savior saith: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God

with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the First and Great

Commandment. And the second is like unto it: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as

thyself. On these two Commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:37-40) .

All — Glory be to the Father and the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the

beginning, is now and ever shall be. World without end, Amen, Amen.

SCRIPTURE READING Psalm 19:7-14 New International Version

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul.

The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. . 8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.

The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. . 9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.

The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous. . 10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold;

they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. . 11 By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward. . 12 But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. . 13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me.

Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. . 14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart

be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

“Praise Anthem” Richard Smallwood

Praise Him with the timbrel and dance,

Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet,

Praise Him with the psaltery and harp;

Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.

(Praise Him) with timbrel and dance,

(Praise Him) on the high sounding cymbals,

(Oh, praise Him) with string instruments;

Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.

Oh, magnify the Lord, Magnify the Lord with me. Let us exalt His name together.

Oh, be joyful all ye people. Oh, be joyful and Clap your hands.

Oh, oh, oh, oh praise Him! Praise His name! Lift Him up!

Keep me in the valley. Hide me from the rain.

My God is awesome; heals me when I’m broken,

Strength where I’ve been weakened, forever He will reign.

My God is awesome, awesome. Awesome, awesome.

My God is awesome, Savior of the whole world

Giver of salvation; by His stripes I am healed

My God is awesome. Today I am forgiven

His grace is why I’m living. Praise His holy name!

He’s Mighty, Holy, Great, Mighty, Deliverer, Holy, Provider, Protector

“Question Is” Pastor Marvin Winans
