The Franciscan Mystery Players are presenting “Jesus the Healer”, Saturday, April 1

We strongly encourage all our Adults and Teens to attend this unique and prayful meditation. Please join us every Friday during Lent for Stations of the Cross at 6:00 PM. The Bible Study group will meet on April 5, 2017 at 6:30 PM in the McNulty Bldg. A meeting for new altar servers will be held on Apr. 3rd at 6:00 PM. Call Lou Hinds at 757-787-5639 or Dave Loescher at 757-665-7484. Lenten Reconciliations: St. Charles – Tues. April 4, 2017 at 4:00 PM; St. Peter the Apostle Reconciliation on Wed. April 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM, following 9:00 AM Mass. The Ladies Auxiliary will sell chances on an Easter basket filled with goodies, after all Masses, until April 9

th (Palm Sunday) when the winning ticket will be drawn.

Please be generous in giving donations for Easter flowers for the altar. You can put your contribution in the collection basket on Sundays, labelled “Easter Flowers”, or drop your donation off at the Parish Office. Only one more week to fill up your rice bowls! Please return them on Palm Sunday. Vocation Cross: It is the 10:30 Mass' turn for a family to take home the Vocation Cross for one week, to pray daily for vocations and for a deacon to help Fr. Roger in his priestly duties. Return the Cross the following Sunday and put it on the credence table in the Sanctuary.

There is a very important parent’s meeting on April 2

nd at 9:15 AM in the McNulty Bldgl, to discuss First Reconciliation and First

Communion. This is the last meeting of the year. Classes will not be held on April 9th

(Palm Sunday) or April 16th

(Easter). Classes will resume on April 23

rd at the regular time. Parents of children receiving First Reconciliation need to remember that First Reconciliation

is on April 22 (the Saturday after Easter). 33 Days to Morning Glory Small Group Retreat: Join us for a 6-week small group-retreat. Gain new insights into Marian Consecration, learn how key saints and blessed lived it out. The retreat will be held at St. Peter’s, April 10-May 13, 2017. For information call Tom Famulari at 757-678-0157. The Pregnancy Center’s Walk for Life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Onancock. The Pregnancy Center is extending an invitation to Saint Peter’s parishioners to again send a team of participants. The Ladies’ Auxiliary is offering an Annual Scholarship to a High School senior confirmed at St. Peter, St. Andrew or St. Charles Catholic churches. Applications must be received by April 15, 2017.
