A Message from Our Pastor

It is obvious that today is a special day for my wife and me. Today we celebrate another Anniversary and not just another Anniversary but our seventeenth year with our Beulah Family. I am the fourteenth

Pastor in a long history of Pastors serving a great congregation. I am thankful to God for having kept Mrs. Favorite and me for all of these years.

It seem as though it was just yesterday that we arrived in Tampa to

answer God's call to continue our ministry here with this Family.

Beulah is like no other Church I know. We have a cadre of talented and resourceful members. I have discovered over the years that this membership has the ability to rise to the occasion and

what we have accomplished over the last seventeen years is the direct result of all of us doing God's will and moving in the same direction. We have a group of God fearing members who are willing to follow the God given Vision of the Pastor. We work together, we invest time and talent

and God does the rest. This celebration is special because of the support of my wife, Dr. Ann C. Favorite. My wife has

given me the allowance of freedom to spend more time fulfilling my passion for moving forward the programs of this church and I applaud her because she too has not been idle. Our "First Lady" has been busy counseling families; founding the Young Men and Women of Excellence Program

as well as our Mother's Board. Mrs. Favorite has a lot of energy, a Pastor could ask for no better help mate to make this a special day of celebration. I must say that this day is also special, because

not only am I celebrating with a special Church Family but because I am also celebrating with my biological family. Each year my family travels from several areas of the country to spend this time with us. They consider it not robbery to sacrifice their time to celebrate with us for the last seven-

teen years. Their presence is a gift from God and we love them and appreciate their continued support.

I suppose my joy today is three-fold because I am celebrating, not only with my Beulah family and my Biological family but my Ambassador for Christ Family, founded by one of my best

friends, Bishop Franklin Frisby. Bishop Frisby could not be here today but he cared enough to

send his very best, in the person of Elder Shawn Crockett. Elder Crockett is a man wiser than his years. He is the Spiritual Advisor that sits at the right hand of Bishop Frisby. Elder Crockett is a

gifted orator and a man of God. Please join me in making him feel welcome. Finally, I say thank you Beulah for allowing me to do God's biddings in this "Household of Faith." Throughout my ten-ure we have been privileged to have many accomplishments but we could not have done them

without you and without God.

A Message from Our First Lady

To God be the Glory for the great things He has done. Today is a great day for celebrating. My husband (our Pastor) is celebrating his

17th year Anniversary as the Under Shepherd of the Beulah Baptist Institutional Church. Pastor's Anniversary has always represented a special time for us, because it is shared by so many of our Family

Members who travel from far and near to be with us. Each year, for

the past seventeen years, they have made the sacrifice to journey to

Tampa to allow this celebration to be the best that it can be. I must say that the last seventeen years has not been without its’ challenges; but by the Grace of

God, the Kingdom continues. Today, my prayers are especially for my Husband to continue being blessed with good health. In spite of the long hours and periods of time in which he is not eating and not resting properly, God has given him Grace. Our Pastor is a man that believes

very strongly in what God is doing through him and he has set a time table in his heart to get it done. I solicit your prayers in asking God to make our Pastor wise concerning, not only his timetable, but also his health. I believe that if he does that, we can continue to celebrate.

I am grateful that God saw fit to give Pastor Favorite the energy to press forward with the Vision

for Beulah that serves as the catalysis for “Kingdom Building”. We all know that he is a persistent and consistent worker for God’s Kingdom. My husband is a man of many talents. He always has time to lend a hand to another worthy cause; but I am convinced that the success of

all the ministries in which Pastor Favorite is involved is dependant upon the assistance he has been provided by a faithful membership. It is that kind of faithfulness that encourages him to take on additional assignments. His success is not about him, it's about you and his prayer life.

I am sure that most of us already know that my husband is a man of prayer. His energy feeds on prayer. He believes that God is his personal God and that he can ask God for his Divine

Intervention in any situation. He begins every phase of life with prayer. His high energy level is

like a vacuum, sucking all of us, myself included, into God's vineyard to do the work of God's

Kingdom. I applaud my husband for seventeen successful years and I also applaud you, Beulah for following his leadership and for being the catalyst that drew all of us together. I thank God for blessing all of us with his approval. God bless you.

Elder Shawn Crockett, Ambassador for Christ Convention Churches World-

wide, Inc. Elder Crockett was ordained as an Elder by Bishop Franklin Frisby D.D. February 14th of

2010 and has served faithfully as a minister of the organization since June of 2008. Cur-

rently Elder Crockett serves as the Chief Liaison to the Chairman and CEO of Ambassador for Christ Convention Churches Worldwide Inc., Bishop Franklin Frisby D.D. Elder Crockett also serves as Assis-

tant to Bishop Franklin Frisby D.D. at AFC Sanford Family Worship Center. In addition, he is the Chairperson and Founder of Safe Have Outreach Ministries, Inc. He also has served on multiple Executive Boards and Advi-

sory Boards throughout his life in ministry and in business. At AFC Sanford, he assists in the management of the

day-to-day functions of the church, as well as, assists or prepares messages when called upon, study topics, and mentoring programs for future leaders and/or ministers. He was highly instrumental in establishing a new organ-

izational flow and reorganization of AFCCCW. Elder Crockett has also recently developed Christian Education materials involving Kingdom Education, which are designed as instructional bible college business modules. Two

of his courses-Kingdom Communications and Kingdom Citizenship-were successfully presented through AFC

Bible College Preparatory Tele-course program in 2010 and in 2011, which is a educational module that was de-veloped for leadership and the new bible student. The average class size consisted of 220 pupils which were en-

gaged with this instructor for 8 weeks. There are over 75 testimonials of the success of the classes and the impact on the individual’s life, ministry, and/or business.

Safe Haven Outreach Ministries was founded as a non-profit corporation in May of 2008 with a primary focus on at-risk children and young adults, or the young in Christ. Elder Shawn Crockett states, “My passion is to see the

youth and young in Christ of our society have a truly complete solution for the social, cultural, spiritual, and eco-nomical challenges that surround them. It inspires me to see one of these young people truly grab a hold of God;

and in falling in love with Him, fall in love with themselves; yet most importantly, their fellow man.”

Elder Crockett served as the Managing Director of the High Life Youth Community School from April 1999 un-til November of 2000. His primary responsibility was to maintain clear communications and management sup-

port between the managing arm of the school, By His Word Inc., the Principal, and the Dean of Student Affairs. He was also responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school including, but not limited to,

budgeting, salary and benefits structure, relationship with the Ohio Department of Education, State Teachers

Retirement Fund, IRS, TRECA-which manages the data base of attendance and other pertinent student data, and transportation.

Elder Crockett is also no stranger to the Business Community. In 2005, he was awarded the Presidents Club gold

award for excellence in sales by Dominion Homes for his team achieving $30 million in new homes sales. He was

also awarded the community service award in 2007 by the Columbus Ohio Realists Association for his efforts in partnering this minority real estate association with Dominion Homes in an effort to help increase minority home

ownership in the Columbus and surrounding areas.

He is also familiar with start-up and self-owned business procedure and success.

Elder Crockett states: “I was called to help bring forth the end time harvest, to be able to speak all of their lan-guages from the rich to the poor. God has built me, and trained me to be all things to all people. For this harvest is

certainly ready but the labors are few. I believe that God is calling me to establish a complete kingdom-focused program and educational structure, and restore in them true intimacy by establishing a relationship with the

Lord. This will be done by applying simple natural applications to their life with support from the local church

and on-staff ministers, and growing a new respect for their peers and positions of authority in the process. With this complete approach which truly helps us to get down on their level, we will see the spiritual implications of

submission to authority, proper order, proper function, right alignment with the law of sowing and reaping fully manifest, amounting to blessings both naturally and spiritually in their lives.”
