OGOT Board of Directors

•6 Officer positions and 2 Member-At-Large positions.•Support the Senior Minister’s vision.•Attend monthly meetings with a definite agenda.•Make principled-based decisions to promote the growth of OGOT spiritually and financially.•Operate in Harmony, Alignment & with Integrity.





Executive Committee

•Determine what goes to the Board for approval.•Establish processes for all other Board committees, for reporting and conducting business.•Report directly to the Board of Directors.




Strategic Planning Committee

•Plans and prepares the organization to go to “Higher Ground.”•Creates a treasure map for accomplishing our vision.•Links current environment to future growth and development.•Develops action plans for strategic growth.




Finance Committee

•Develops fiscal policies, procedures & guidelines.•Stewards of our tangible assets.•Projects revenue that is reasonable and achievable.•Ensures that we maintain legal and financial integrity.•Positions OGOT fiscally for growth.




Facilities Committee

•Develops policy as it relates to the facility and grounds.•Reviews, researches and recommends capital improvements, both inside and outside of our facility.•Recommends renovations and upgrades.•Considers future facility expansion and growth.




Development/Governance Committee

•Develops policy for development and governance.•Inspires interest through orientation and recruitment.•Provides training to nurture and foster cohesiveness with members for retention.•Empowers and engages leadership as a collective mind.•Maintains focus on succession planning.



One God One Thought Center Board Responsibilities


OGOT BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES

Hold an officer’s position and/or sit on a Board

committee.

Attend monthly Board meetings.

Set policies.

Provide stewardship of the financial resources.





Ensure harmony with the congregation and ministries.

Regular attendance to all services and special events.

Prayer partners with Senior minister at all times.

Greet guests and congregation members.




Assist in collecting and counting offerings at all services and

special events.

Demonstrate leadership and be the example by living the

truth.

Attend leadership meetings and other required meetings.

Assist other ministries when necessary.
