This programconforms to the requirements of 10CFR50, Section 50.55a(g) and the PVNGSTechnical Specifications„ In addition, the information is presented in aform consistent with app].icable requirements of Standard Review PlanSections 5.2.4 and 6.6, and .the 'recomiinendations contained in NRC letterdated July 17, 1981,, from Hr. 3.0 DESCRIPTION
3.1 SCOPE
3.1.1 This Inservice Inspection - Program Summary includes allapplicable nondestructive examinations are required by ASMESection XI and those identified in the PVNGS, TechnicalSpecifications as identified below:
1. Examination of ASME'lass 1,2 and 3 pressure retainingcomponents and their supports.
2. Examination of the Reactor Coolant Pump Flywheels inaccordance .with PVNGS Technical Specifications Section3/4.4.9.
3. Augmented high energy piping examinations in accordancewith PVNGS FSAR Section 6.6.8.
4. Augmented examinations of CHR, RHR, and ECCS piping inaccordance with 10CFR50.55a.
5. Special examinations, to satisfy other commitments orconcerns that are based on operating experiences, USNRC'Circulars, Information Notices, or Bulletins, CombustionEngineering bulletins, .INFO Reports,,and etc. Theseexaminations are scheduled throughout this program andreference the applicable notificati'on: documents.
3.1.2 Those items that would generally be included in an InserviceInspection, program, but are not included .'are identified below:
1. The inservice testing of snubbers will be performed inaccordance with the PVNGS Technical SpecificationsSection 3/4.7.9. F,
Note: Request for= Relief /f1 in Section 9.0.
2. The pump valve testing program is contained and submittedunder a separate cover.
3.2 SYSTEM BOUNDARIES
A complete set of Inservice Boundary drawings was included inSection 10.0 of the Unit 1 Program submittal (Letter gANPP-33266-EEV8/KLM dated '8/26/85). Please refer to thesedrawings for definition of the ASME Class 1, 2 and 3 systems,components and boundaries scheduled for examinations and pressuretesting.

3.5 INSPECTION INTERVALS
The Inservice Inspection Program, was prepared in accbrdance withProgram B of ASHE .Section XI. T'e initial 10 year, inspectioninterval and corresponding inspection periods are defined below(f:rom t'ihe anticipated commercial service date of 12/31/87).

3.6 EXAHINATION CATEGORIES
The examination categories of ASHE Section XI were utilized todevelop this, program for all systems, components, and supports.The Program summary tables contained in Section. 4.0 and'.0 areorganized by examination.-category for ASHE Class 1 and 2 systemsxespectively. For each examination, category,, these tablesidentify the system, line. number or serial number, 'nondestructiveexamination method, total number of items, the requiredexamination amount for each inspection period, and the runningpercentage. For ASHE, Class 3 systems, the examination categoriesare identified'n Section 6.0.
3.7 EVALUATION AND REPAIR
The evaluation of all examination results will be performed inaccordance with ASHE Section XI Articles IVA and IWBg3000. Inaddition, all applicable repairs and replacements wil~l beperformed in accordance with ASHE Section XI Articles IVA, INB,INC, IWD and 14'F-4000 and 7000. Both the evaluations and repairor replacement will be performed in accordance with the 1980Edition through and including the Minter 1981 Addenda of ASHESection XI., or later editions,and addenda of ASHE,Section XIreferenced in 10CFR50. These .wi:ll'lso be summarized in thereport prepared after each refueling outage in ac'cordance withASHE Section XI.
3.8 SYSTEM: PRESSURE TESTS
System pressure test will be performed in accordance with ASHESection. XI and as identified in Sections 4.0., 5..0..and 6.0 forASHE Class 1, 2 and 3 respectively. These tables also identifythe type of pressure test, and test frequency, any applicablerequests for relief, and references the appropriate ASHE SectionXI Article .for each of,the,ASHE Code Classes.
3.9 AUGHEiVTED HIGH ENERGY PIPING
Based on the PVNGS FSAR, an augmented examination is required forprotection against postulated pipe failures. This augmentedexamination program includes the following high energy pipingsystems located between the containment penetration and the mainsteam support structure wall:

The summary tables. in Section 7.0 identifies each system, alongwith the required examination amounts, and frequencies. As shownby this table,, a volumetric examination of all longitudinal andand circumferential welds is scheduled. These welds will beexamined to the maximum extent practical. Any limitations to theexamination will be included and documented in the summary reportprepared in accordance with ASHE Section XI after each refuelingoutage.
