Continuing EducationDRIVER EDUCATIONVARIOUS CLASSES – Carson City • Douglas • Fernley • FallonNew drivers can prepare for the challenges of driving (and driver license testing) in the Western Nevada College Driver Education Program. The non-credit course meets four days for 30 hours of classroom training and is open to students age 15 and older.
BASIC MOTORCYCLE RIDER COURSEDesigned for beginning riders, this program introduces students to motorcycle controls, motorcycle riding, basic maneuvers, street riding and traffic skills.
ADVANCED RIDER COURSESThis course is for riders with Class M endorsement. It covers self-assessment, risk management, rider behavior, advanced cornering techniques, braking, throttle operation, riding posture, body position, tire traction, swerving and emergency stops.
