Retail vs. Wholesale Extract Availability Currently Statements are published OD+7 Wholesale extracts RTM CODE and RTM MODE

are published within a few hours (normally same day)

Market Participants can start validating statements within 24 hours and be ready to approve invoices, run accrual reports, and provide analysis.

Retail vs. Wholesale Extract Availability Retail Extracts are not published following an

Operating Day but a “post” or “change” date. Retail Extracts are published 3 days after the

data has been in ERCOT’s systems and they have used it for aggregation purposes.

Market Participants wanting to shadow retail aggregation processes need to wait 2 extra days after Wholesale Extracts have been published to perform complete validation.
