Lighting control systems provide the right amount of light where and when it is needed. Nordeon USA fixtures, combined with lighting controls, can reduce the annual energy consumption and associated costs by more than seventy percent.

1. Occupancy sensing control (onI off)

The simplest way to save energy is by switching off lights when nobody is present, (no dimming of lights). This is particularly suitable for warehouses without daylight and dimming requirements. The presence related switch is available as an integrated solution for Baldur.

3. Sensor network solutions for maximum flexibility

For even more flexibility, sensors can interact in networks. Imagine a large facility where lights would only switch on in the area below a specific luminaire where movement is detected. All other areas remain dark. This is too aggressive for most environments and can create environmental dangers.

Connecting sensors in networks avoids this as lights can be adjusted to increase and decrease output of direct and adjacent luminaires. For example, output can be set to 100% in the specific area and 20% for adjacent areas creating a more comfortable and safe environment to work in.

2. Daylight harvesting & occupancy sensing (dimming)

Maximum energy savings without compromising comfort can be attained by dimming. Dependent on the level of daylight, the artificial light will be dimmed down automatically. Presence sensors will detect occupancy and switch off lights when nobody is there. This system is based on 0-10v controls and can be individually commissioned, simply by remote control.

A proven track recordThe NordeonGroup was founded in 2012 by its current owner Varova from the Netherlands with the launch of the Nordeon brand in Germany, France and the Netherlands. Nordeon operates out of Springe in Germany and Chalon-sur-Saône in France and specializes in the design and manufacturing of lighting systems for industry and retail, with products such as trunking systems, highbays and downlights.
