Systemation presented CXAIR with a proof of
concept “that was so compelling that we
decided in the summer of 2012 to
purchase CXAIR. The implementation
time was quick and in 3 or 4 days the
software was operational.”

One of the functions that the
traditional platform lacked was the
ability to carry out ad-hoc analysis
based on questions.
It proved very expensive to pay external
consultants to work on each report and there
was a long wait for each report to be
completed.
The Challenge
Scheer & Foppen are the Netherlands’ largest independent
electrician retailers, with 65 shops and a number of online stores.
Scheer & Foppen has a hybrid information environment, with the
company making a number of standard reports using developed
self-reports in Oracle APEX. While this reporting has proved
sufficient for individual shops, the head office was in need of
much more robust analytical capabilities.

This is in stark contrast to the old source,
where data was exported to the BI tool via
complex query-language.
