1. The Deal Pipeline (The deal Website)

Project Details:

The Deal Pipeline, is used by leading firms worldwide and offers all their proprietary research and reporting including a breaking news service (First Take); daily and weekly sector newsletters; a twice-daily report of the day’s top stories (The Daily Deal); a research center with over a decade’s worth of reporting and a database of over 117,000 deals; and an exclusive iPad app. The Deal Pipeline website provides different subscription services to their users like, Deal Maker Connections service, Corporate Dealmaker service, Event Driven service for hedge funds and traders. Deal Maker Connection module of The Deal website gives an interface to the user to check deals like M&A, Auctions, and Bankruptcies between company and persons. This gives the user a better interface of all deal involvements in brief along with person’s and companies worked with this deal.

In this we have automated Sign Up and CSA module. Sign Up module basically provides subscription to user for 20 different services. CSA is a Customer Service Application which stores all the details of subscribed user.

UDB is an in-house application used to enter prospective deals which may happen in the deal economy and the same is published on the Deal Pipeline for the subscribed users. The data entered in UDB is published to the Deal Pipeline only when ‘Read for Publish’ checkbox is selected and the form is submitted. This application maintains detail information of all the measure deals happens across the globe. It maintains different inter-relationships between them. Application generates different reports and data which gets used for publishing purpose on different The Street’s web applications.

4. Ratewatch Data Collection (RDC)

Project Details:

The purpose of the RDC system is to monitor websites for changes and to organize the MRS work resulting from website changes. Rate Watch runs most of its systems on a legacy Power-7 mainframe; the business is eager to migrate operations to a stable and scalable platform that uses modern system architecture. The RDC project will replace all data collection and queue management tools currently hosted on the existing mainframe with a modern REST-based service infrastructure hosted in the Amazon AWS compute cloud. It is mainly used by MRS (Market Research Specialists) that is responsible for entering financial information, typically bank rates for deposits or loans. Fees are another content set provided by Rate Watch and curated by MRS teams.
