RESUME
If you my name
If someone were to Google my name, after a few page surfs you would find my face book and my connection to Future Business Leaders of America, Phi Beta Lambda Inc. I am an active member inside this Career and Technical student organization. As a state officer for Pennsylvania and a National Officer for the country, I help run the 256,000 member organization which has spread to Europe. In 5 – 10 years Google will tell you that I am a business owner and that I am well on my way to reaching Warren Buffets intelligence of the market.
Justin Coleman
This is what
will not tell you about me
Honors student – Google will not tell you about my hard work and dedication to my studies at Hatboro-Horsham High School.
Snowboarding and Skim boarding – Google will not tell you, unless my name registers on a competitor entry list, that I compete in snowboarding and skim boarding competitions around the East side of the United States.
Business – Google will not tell you that I have a heavily biased business mind and I aspire to study at Villanova School of Business.
Family and Religion – Google will not tell you that I am a very religious person and I realize that family is most important. I love my family dearly and they are the reason I wake up and do what I do every day.
Entertainer – Google will not tell you my love for entertaining people and basically being the center of attention. I try hard to make sure everyone around me is enjoying being around me.
Public Speaking - Through FBLA I have gained the necessary skills to speak in front of crowds that range from 500 – 14,000 students and teachers. Without FBLA I would have never had the confidence to step out in front this enormous group and be calm and with composure.
Being a leader – I am very good at setting the path for others to follow. As a leader I listen to my fellow peers opinions and form the best decision based on a diverse source of ideas.
Optimism – I am always willing to look at a bad situation, find the positives, and use that energy to dig myself out of the situation. Being optimistic may not always find you the answer, but being pessimistic will never find you the answer.
Hard work – Like the thousands of participants in the marathon above, I work hard everyday to achieve my goals and dreams. Without my hard work and motivation I would only let myself and my family down.
• Skim boarding and Snowboarding – I am very competitive and these extreme sports give me an opportunity to be competitive while exerting my energy in a positive, active way.
• Speaking Impromptu – I am very good at developing an accurate opinion on a subject that I just recently learned about and forming a speech or being able to talk about that subject.
• Entrepreneurship – I am an expert at selling items and I can make anything sound like the next best item since sliced bread, even if I don’t like it personally.
• Busy work – My worst experience with working is that many of the jobs involve busy work. Busy work gives me no chance to prove to the company my potential.
• Be on call – If I were ever to work again I would demand to have fully scheduled hours and time off, being on call only disrupts an employees schedule.
• Work alone – I am a people person and I love to be with and talk to people. If I were stuck alone in a cubicle crunching numbers, I would not last long in that job.
THANK YOU!
Thank you very much for your time, I hope that my strong leadership, people skills, and abilities to adapt to different working areas will be a good fit for your company.
