For all projects and daily management activities, maintain all proper documentation for quality purposes,
performed construction inspection, quality audits, create general master schedule for all year activities, track
procurement process, RFIs, Submittals and lead weekly planning and construction meetings with the client.

Civil / Structural / Architectural & Mechanical
For the Pipe Rack Upgrade Project, managed and coordinated all civil, structural, mechanical and electrical
activities for new pipe rack installation and existing pipe rack refurbish. Activities included excavations for
footings, inspections for grading, grounding, reinforcing steel installation, concrete pours quality, structural
steel fabrication and assembly monitoring; managed design and construction project for seismic upgrade
to existing pipe rack according to codes (in coordination with structural designers); and provided structural
analysis and design for piping supports and field conditions. For mechanical activities, coordination of
installation of utilities such as cooling water, steam, compressed air, sanitary, city water, well water, reuse
water and DI water. Also bio waste, kerosene and diesel. Commissioning tests were coordinated and
supervised for these installations.
In addition, provided construction supervision for capital projects involving chillers installations, utilities
reconfiguration, demolitions, waste treatment plant upgrade and reconfiguration (new, pumps, new
agitator, system update, plant procedures updates), cooling tower revamping, shut down activities, utilities
transfers and startups. Coordinated and inspected the installation activities and weekly coordination
meetings. Coordinated all piping welding and ultrasonic inspections with third parties and audit all
commissioning documentation.
For all projects, managed the quality documentation in coordination with designer (RFIs); and managed
new Capital Projects Development: assessment, define scopes description, budgetary assessment, prepare
technical data for bidding purposes, bidding process, bid analysis, purchase orders monitoring and
management, and projects executions supervision (Projects: Pipe rack retrofit, building improvements and
remodeling, facilities improvements (paint, pedestrian walkways, building access), chillers refurbish, plant
infrastructure modifications (storm sewers

Position: Professional Services as Mechanical Superintendent - (October 2008-July 2009)
Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise all mechanical and instrumentation activities during the night shift.
Inspection of mechanical installations, such as isometrics, instrumentation and equipment. As part of the team,
also supervised other discipline activities such as civil, architectural and structural in order to comply with
client’s quality and specification requirements. Audit documentation and assist preparation of turnover
packages.

For the EHS & TOU Upgrades Project (Emission Control Upgrade-Relocation of two thermal oxidizer),
coordinated and managed all civil, mechanical and electrical activities. Directed weekly contractor’s
coordination meetings and worked in a daily basis with drawing reviews, RFIs (Request for information in
coordination with designers), change orders evaluation, inspections, and reports to client. In addition,
prepared scopes of work and technical packages for RFPs (Requests for proposal) for multidiscipline
activities and biddings procedures; assisting with commissioning procedures and “as built”drawings; and
preparing documentation and project tracking made through “Constructware” (Construction Management
Software).

development plans including earthwork calculations, parking designs (codes compliance), temporary

cost estimates and bidding packages; and providing inspection and management during construction
phases.
