Description:
Project engine rating (B5.9 215 HP) is a six liter two valve mechanical generator rating which is taken as a baseline architecture to develop industrial rating for water well drilling application i.e. Air Compressor.
Driving factor of project: Competition in fuel economy.
There are other competitor engines including Ashok Leyland & other C series rating in this air compressor application as mentioned below:
o A) 6DT 188HP@1800 RPM( Ashok Leyland)
o B) 6CTA8.3 230HP@2000 RPM
Project strategy for Fuel Economy improvement of six litre mechanical diesel Engine.
o Advance fuel injection timing till fuel economy improves.o Increasing engine speed so as to get benefit in fuel economy considering duty cycle of
application.(Air compressor)

Design and Fabrication of rotor blade for moulding sand recycling machine.The project consisted of increasing life of blades for moulding sand recycling machine with application of
different heat treatment processes.
“BAJA SAE INDIA 2011”design and fabrication of motor vehicle.The project consisted of designing a motor vehicle based on rules stated by BAJA SAE INDIA Team 2012.
Worked on vehicle dynamics with calculation of roll centre with tyre geometry.
