Development Mar 2014 - June 2015 To gather and understand requirements, create or modify the UML Analysis/ Design Models. As a Senior COBOL developer working in COBOL team with high quality deliverables and minimal defects. Reviewing the code developed by other team members and suggesting ways for improving its reusability

and efficiency. I do check the daily builds and the server apart from the failure in Environments through checking Error Logs. For the code changes in previous releases we need to do patch backs. Need to set up data for SIT Team for their level of testing.

Support Sep 2013 - Mar 2014 As a COBOL Analyst I worked in Billing Team and use to handle all the critical issues related with

payments, billing, adjustments, tape processing. Use to handles priority issues and use to work on Live Data for more than 7 months.

Work on Batch failures and problem tickets regularly and use to handle server issues. The call made by the customers is recorded in tapes at exchange levels which need to be processed for

the billing of the customer. Usually this process runs in a batch. But if this fails and aborts any tapes we need to process them manually.

Testing June 2013 – Sep 2013 I worked as a single COBOL resource in the whole testing team and use to perform tasks which are purely

COBOL technical and use to perform test cases for it. Good testing principles as well as good defect management skills. Creation of test cases, execution of testing, debugging, data-setup, look after the gateway and ACMS

servers in different testing and development environments. Work as a single COBOL specialist and mentor the small team to train them to decrease the dependency.

Reviewing of the STP, STR and handling the query tracking management.
