Full Time Responsibility of System Administration including: System Center Configuration Manager.

Role and Responsibility as a SCCM Admin:

Security Updates Deployment (Patch Management):

Perform the Testing of release MS and other patches on Pilot System/Server. Analysis the system behavior after Patches deployment and get the Feedback from

appropriate app team in case of Server Patches deployment. Raise the Change Management Ticket to deploy the Patches in Production

Environment. Create Region base/ Site Base query collections for Systems/Servers. Creation of “Software Update Group” at the base of OS and Product of tested

patches. Creation of “Deployment Packages” for “Software Update Group”, Download the

patches and distribute the “Deployment Packages” to DPs. Perform the Deployment of patches to production environment. Pull out report before/after patches deployments. Perform the troubleshooting by analyzing Server side and Client side log files in

case of any issues during deployment.

Software Distribution Management:

Software Distribution Package creation in SCCM Console with Package installation Program.

Creation of Application in SCCM Console with appropriate deployment type. Testes the Package on Pilot systems/Servers. Deployment of package on Productions Systems/Servers. Perform the troubleshooting by analyzing Server side and Client side log files in case

of any issues during deployment.

Operation System Deployment (Image Management):

Download latest Drivers and latest require software. Creation of Driver and Software Package in SCCM. Creation of Boot Image and WIM file Package in SCCM. Creation of Language Pack Packages. Creation of Task Sequence. Creation of Media from task Sequence. Enable Bitlocker Policies in Environment to secure the Workstation.

Software Center Endpoint Protections:

Creation of Automatic Deployment Rule. Enable the Definition Update for SCEP. Creation the Exclusion List (The list of files and folder to exclude from Scanning

Process). Push the SCEP client with SCCM client in Environment. Monitor the Health of SCEP client throughout the Environment.

Other SCCM Task:

Taken Care of Hardware and Software Inventory of Environment. Installation and configuration of SCCM Server, MP, DP and SCCM Boundaries and Site. Monitoring thee Data Replication on regular bases, Perform the troubleshooting by

analyzing the logs in case of any issues. Monitoring the SCCM Site, SCCM Components, and SCCM Server Services to maintain

Server healthy. Pull out various reports for better understand the deployment status and

envelopment health.

Role and Responsibility as a SCOM Admin:

Check the Management Group Health dashboard view. Check open alerts. Back up the operational database (incremental). Check for updates to management packs. Create Dashboard View. Configure Application\Infrastructure level Alerts and Monitor. Configure Custom Report. Back up operational database and data warehouse database. Start monitoring a computer Investigate a gray agent.
