• The concept of this building is to frame the Tobin Center, which is an important aspect of this building because it leads people in and out of the structure. This building creates an environment in which people can interact as well as be guided to the Tobin Center.
Farmers Market| Carving out the Landscape

Studio 1 • The goal of this project is to be able to create a space that guides you
through the site to truly experience the farmers market. The forms are inspired by the of peeling away the landscape and brining up a building, giving the buildings curves at every intersection. The idea was to be able to combine the landscape and architecture letting the

forms be driven by what is provided in the site as well as the circulation of the site.

Studio IV • The Promise Zone has become one of San Antonio’s most targeted
neighborhoods for reconstruction. The plan for the Promise Zone is to partner with local communities and businesses to create jobs, increase economic security, reduce poverty, expand educational opportunities, increase access to quality, affordable housing, and improve public safety
The topic that is being addresses is not only the demographics in the area but the lack of technology and libraries. It is very clear that people are in need of a space in which they could access a computer, take computer courses as well as generate jobs and internships for the community. The community is also in need of a library they could access as well as be located at a short distance from their homes or a bus stop.
