Under the New Foreign Trade Policy a new scheme has been

introduced which is the sum total of all the previous schemes

namely, FPS,FMS&MLFPS. Objective of New Scheme is to offset

infrastructural inefficiencies & associated costs involved in Export

of goods.

presence of Indian Exporters in international market the

Government of India has given MEIS benefits which shall be

Recently, keeping in mind the scenario of worst economy &

position of India in international market, Govt. of India while

announcing the Exim policy on 18.04.2013, a new Incremental

growth benefit scheme is announced to claim extra benefit over &

above existing benefits of FPS,FMS ,MLFPS & VKGUY on the

net growth in the FOB value of the export .An IEC holder would be

entitled for duty credit scrip @2% on the incremental growth for

the period 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014 compared to the previous year

01.04.2012 to 31.03.2013.

Status Holder

To give recognition to the Indian Exporters in international market,

Govt. of India has categorized the exporters depending upon his

total FOB Export performance in free foreign exchange during

current plus previous two Financial years taken together .

The IEC Holder shall be granted Double Weight-age for

Calculation of Export Performance for Grant of Status. Double

Weight-age shall be available for grant of one Star Export House

Category only.

Advance

Authorisation

Scheme(AA)

An Advance Authorisations is issued to allow duty free import of

inputs, which are physically incorporated in the export product.

Earlier the exporters were allowed to make payment of duties at the

time of import & the same was to be refunded in terms of Duty

Drawback after completion of Exports. To get relief from this

exporters are allowed to avail Advance authorisation Benefits to

import the inputs without payment of duties.

Zero Duty EPCG

Scheme

Zero Duty EPCG scheme allows import of Capital Goods(including CKD/SKD ) for production at zero custom duty, subject to an export obligation equivalent to 6 times of duty saved on capital goods imported under EPCG scheme, to be fulfilled in 6 years reckoned from Authorisation issue date.

Duty scrip ,equivalent to 5 to 7% of the FOB value of exports

realised in free foreign exchange,is available against export

of agricultural produce and their value added variants.

FOCUS MARKET

SCHEME

A single consolidated application made to some specified

countries (list available) attract benefits from 2 to 4% of the FOB

value in the shape of duty scripts.

FOCUS PRODUCTS

SCHEME

A single consolidated application of some specified products to

specified countries – benefits @ 2% of the FOB value can be

availed.

GARMENTS EXPORTERS to USA and EUROPE can avail

benefits of 2% of the FOB value for the period from 01.04.2010 to

30.09.210, 01.04.2011 to 31.03.2012 and from 05.06.2012 till

30.03.2013.
