How easy is it to get data rescaled?

Data can be collected from your air qualitysites, validated and fully rescaled by DataManagements specialists before beingemailed directly to you.

DATA COLLECTION, VALIDATION AND RE-SCALING

The following services are available from ETi Data Management:

Twice daily data retrieval from your air quality stations, (all data is securely archived in the event of accidental customer data loss.)

The Data Management Team analyse theinternal calibration results and the manualcalibration checks performed and recordedby the Local Site Operator (LSO) to calculate the true analyser zero andresponse factor, and rescale the dataaccordingly.

Rescaling is performed on a monthly or quarterly basis depending on the individual contract.

Rescaled data can be produced inMicrosoft Excel or Enview Data File format.The latter allows customers with Enview2000 or Enview for Windows to load therescaled data into their Enview software.

AIR QUALITY DATA REPORT GENERATIONCasella ETi recognise that report generation isa time consuming activity, therefore in additionto data rescaling, ETis dedicated team alsooffer Local Authorities a time saving reportingservice. Reports can be produced on amonthly or quarterly basis depending on thecustomers individual requirements.

In each report rescaled data is presented ing/m3 both in graphical and tabular format.The report also contains a statistical summaryincluding percentage data capture, data averages, maximums, minimum and exceedences against the relevant air quality standard.

AIR QUALITY STATION DIAGNOSTIC CHECKBy checking your air quality data on a dailybasis, our in-house team of experts can alsohighlight any analyser or data collection problems as they occur and report these findings to the LSO and your local Casella ETi Service Engineer. This prompt actionincreases the reliability of your Air QualityStation and ultimately improves your data capture.

DATA MANAGEMENT DAILY ACTIVITIESDaily activities carried out by the DataManagement Team include:

Check retrieved data once a day, for anomalies and operational site failures.

Check daily internal auto-calibration resultstwice weekly, for anomalies such as drift orcomplete failure.

Report and monitor all findings, liasing withthe Local Site Operator and the Casella ETiEngineering Support Unit (ESU).

In conjunction with Local Site Operatorsand the ESU, Data Management will

also assist with failed or intermittent communications. Typically problems could be modem or logger related.

ETis team is able to change customers gasvalues so that the correct value is displayedon the logger, this ensures that the internalcalibration reports displayed by Enview arecorrect, which is imperative for rescaling.

Enview 2000 is one of the most powerful airquality software suites available today. Itseasy to use menu driven structure enables airquality professionals to undertake a range ofbasic and complex tasks alike.Comprehensive support is also available fromits CD based 300 page manual which clearlyexplains how all the tasks can be quickly andefficiently executed.

Enview 2000 runs under the latest range ofMicrosoft Windows operating systems. At theheart of Enview 2000 is its use of a database,which stores all the data in an extremely efficient manner. This enables meaningful andcomplex reports to be quickly generated.

The software has been designed and writtenin a module fashion. This enables separateprogrammes to be used for separate functions, such as data communication ordata reporting. It also means that additionalfunctionality such as public display or webutilities can be easily added without any disruption to Enview 2000's existing setup.

Indeed, one of Enview 2000's many strengthsis in its list of additional options and features.Of particular interest is the software's ability to export data to custom designed public display systems or web packages.

Both of these options enable air quality datato be quickly made available to the generalpublic or other interested bodies. All exporteddata can also be passed through a simpledata filter to ensure that no erroneous results are placed into the public domain.

Enview 2000 also has a separate communications module that enables a wide range of different protocols to be used. Hence the software can communicate with several different makes of analyser.

However, most benefits are gained from theME 9800 range of air quality analysers withmemory on board capabilities. When morecomprehensive on-site data storage or functionality is required, the Envidas range ofstate of the art data loggers can be deployed.

ENVIEW 2000 PUBLIC INFORMATION OPTIONSOne of the many exciting features of Enview2000 is the software's ability, as an optionalextra, to seamlessly export air quality datainto the public domain.

The air quality data can be posted in a number of different formats to:

INTRODUCTION

ENVIDAS is an intelligent, multi function, high performance data acquisition system. It is designed with affordability and versatilityin mind.

ENVIDAS is a state-of-the-art system thatuses nonproprietary desktop or industrial PC computer components to run flexible,environmental data acquisition software. A wide variety of data acquisition cards may be installed.

ENVIDAS software features pull-down windows based menus. Only basic knowledge of PC software operations isrequired for system operation.

All hardware components are open stockitems available from multiple suppliers.

As the name implies, ENVIDAS is designed tohelp you automate your environmental dataacquisition system projects and make yourjob easier.

The system requires an initial setup. Then it starts to run automatically, acquiring measurements, controlling processes andtransferring data to the central computerroom. The system has the capability ofdetecting errors and autonomously transmitting alarms to the central. Data values can be filtered and collected accordingto user-defined criteria. Local on screen display and printing is supported.
