• Rev 21:1-5• 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the

first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

• 5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

How you view yourself is determined bywhich of these is your LARGER STORY

Sin must take its proper place in your restoration story!

• Genesis 3 : Telling people what you ARE NOT• Genesis 1: Telling people what you ARE

Your method of sharing Christ with others will begin with one or the other of these positions.

The way you receive Christ will begin with one other the other of these positions.

WHERE DOES YOUR RESTORATION STORY BEGIN?

• Gen. 3 “disembodied evacuation” – primal importance

• or• Gen. 1 Participatory physicality

• Is your story about “getting you out of here”?

Eph 2:14-18

14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. NIV
