• This activity used several time management techniques. Can

you figure out what they were?

• Could you have come up with such a variety of alternative

ideas by working individually?

• What would have happened if didn’t have deadline?

Failing to.... • Failing to keep a to-do-list

• Failing to accurately track your time

• Failing to manage distractions

Page 11: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

Because You Have Been… • Procrastinating

• Tracking on too much

Page 12: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

Who, What, When, Where,

Which, and Why.

• Vague: Get in shape for the

summer.

• Specific: Join a hot yoga

studio and practice 4 times a

week over the next 3 months.

Page 17: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

How much?

How many?

How will I know when it is

accomplished?

What is at the finish line?

• Keep a journal, put up a

whiteboard at the office, use

your smartphone to download a

tracking app

Page 18: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

• Are you prepared to make the

commitment to reach your target?

• Are you willing to dramatically alter

or at least tweak aspects your life?

• Is there a more achievable target you

are willing to to work for?

Page 19: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

Schedule, workload, and knowledge

Page 20: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

• Raise credit from 700 to 720 in 12-

18 months

“Someday” won’t work.

Page 21: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

• List down the important milestones along the way to your

target. You can pair each milestone with a reward.

• Remember, your goal will be attainable if you truly believe

that it can be accomplished.

• Try making a list of people, things and general resources

you'll need to achieve your goal.

• Use the power of visualization. What would it feel like to

taste, smell, touch your goal?

Page 22: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

Keep in mind that a high goal is frequently easier to

reach than a low one because a low goal can

also lower your motivation

Stress

Management

Page 26: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

What is STRESS?

Stress is often termed as a twentieth

century syndrome, born out of man's race

towards modern progress and its ensuing

complexities.

- BENJAMIN FRANKLIN

Page 27: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

Stress problems are very common. The American Psychological Association's

"Stress in America" poll found that one-third of people in the United States

report experiencing extreme levels of negative stress. In addition, nearly one

out of five people report that they are experiencing high levels of negative

stress 15 or more days per month.

Page 28: Resoure Management - AIESEC Indonesia Winter Camp

Meaning of stress

Stress can have a big impact on your body, in ways that are felt by just you, and in way that the world can see. One of the more visible potential by-products of stress is weight gain--many people find themselves to be "emotional eaters" who react to stress by reaching for something--often the wrong thing--to eat. Stress can also create a loss of apetite, which can be a problem as well.

Disadvantages of stress management

Stress is a disadvantage because it can

potentially raise your heart rate and

weaken your immune system. Also, it can

be a factor in poor decision making

because under stress we may not think

logically or consider the consequences of

the choices we make.

. That's right, folks, do nothing at all. Close the door, open the

window, have a seat, and take a little break from life. If your

mind is racing, learn to meditate and just let that stress go.
