• Step 1: Fill out Student Information Form www.my.maricopa.edu• Step 2: Complete Proposition 300 form• Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid – Takes 5-10 working days to process. Apply EARLY!
www.fafsa.gov• Step 4: Take Placement test South Mountain Community College uses the Accuplacer test for English, Reading
and Math placement. It is required for all new students. This is not a timed test and is done on a computer.
• Step 5: Visit Advisement to register for classes, get a check sheet of required courses and an create an Educational Plan.
• Step 6: Registration • Step 7: Tuition and payment…Payment plans available Note to student: After enrollment in classes, a link to ecashiers is added to Student
