• La potenciación de Antidepresivos con
Antipsicóticos Atípicos es el tratamiento
comprobado más efectivo para aumentar
la remisión y evitar la recurrencia de la
Depresión Resistente (es más rápido que
sustituir y no requiere wash out).

POTENCIACIÓN de ANTIDEPRESIVOS con ANTIPSICÓTICOS ATÍPICOS
• Es necesario la elección del AA más
adecuado para cada situación clínica, dado
que deben vigilarse los efectos adversos, a
fín de poder mantener la compliance
terapéutica:
Olanzapina: mayor sedación, aumento de peso. Aripiprazol: deshinbidor, no actúa sobre el peso, acatisia. Quetiapina: mejor efecto antidepresivo, efecto sobre BDNF (50-300 mg/d XR), somnolencia inicial
