Design Brief (by client)

Name: Tushar PantAge: 24yearsRelationship Status: SingleIn five years I imagine myself to have completed my masters in Interior Architecture and would be living back in Bangalore. I would own a nice little two BHK apartment on Lavelle Road. Being an interior designer I would be working for a small architectural firm, I would indulge less on lavish furniture but have a minimalize and a more functional place to live. I imagine the climate of Bangalore to change for the little more extremes, so I expect hotter summers and cooler winters. The place I live would be open, not cramped and closed. The serene environment of the ‘Garden City’ would blend with what I’m hoping to achieve in a cozy warm interior, a home and not a house.

Further Additions to the Brief

On talking with the client some more I learnt that he would be staying alone and his friends might crash but he wants only one bedroom.Tushar wants a nice studio for all his art works, not just interior design related. He’s a bachelor who stays alone and has parties on alternate weekends at his place with his friends.Drinking and smoking will be a common happening. His parents visit less than once a year and he’s not planning on getting married for the next five years at least. From what I gathered he wants a bachelor’s den.
