• What does the book look like?Throughout the book, the small paragraphs of text can be found next to the illustrations

with the images being the main point of focus on each page. This layout is common throughout the whole book however there is one page dominated by an image with only two words included.

• What methods have been used to illustrate them?The illustrations in the book seem to be drawn.• What kinds of fonts are used?As the average reading age for this book is 4-8 years old, no over complicated fonts have

been used. Most letters have serifs which is a small flick on the edges of the letter to guide the readers eye through the book as they create clean, smooth lines of text.

• How much text is on a page?On each page, there is a small amount of text printed next to each illustration in order to

tell the story.• How many pages are there?There are 40 pages in the hardback version of Splat the Cat.• What size are the pages?According to Amazon.com, the product dimensions are 10 x 0.2 x 10 inches.

• What do they look like?Each page of the book is completely full of painted illustrations with a small paragraph of

text on each page. The colours within the book are bright and eye catching in order to keep children's attention.

• What methods have been used to illustrate the book?The book, Where There’s a Bear, There’s Trouble, has drawn illustrations to tell the story.• What kinds of fonts are usedThe font used is very simplistic and easy to read, the font is black to make the font stand out
