Justification of the Interest!
The exposure to media content is the first step in the process of acquiring political knowledge. ! !!There is theoretical as well as empirical evidence that online networks structures shape modes of exposure to political information.!!!The predominant mode of exposure online is still a contentious issue and its effects on public opinion deserve further research (Turow, 1997; Sunstein, 2008; Ksiazek, 2009; Garret, 2009; Prior, 2008).!! !!

Justification of the Interest!
Several authors find little evidence of ideological segmentation in online media use (Gentzkow & Shapiro, 2010; Garret, 2009; Hindman, 2009;)!!!Network bridges among new media and traditional media can forge a wider public agenda. They are a tool to balance fragmentation (Prior, 2008 ). !!!A real access to a wider range of topics along with its views to assess the political scenario enhance government accountability.!!!Rising levels of informed opinion and the guarantee of a public sphere in the online media might strengthen quality of democracy.! !!
